Welcome to AOL TV listings is what greets you when you surf to AOL’s TV listings site for the iPhone.

You can find it at http://iphone.television.aol.com. Just type in your zip code and click go.

You then get a detailed list of television services in your area.

After clicking save you get the following menu.

Choosing channel guide will give you the total list of channels available. You then have the oportunity to uncheck the ones you do not want to see listed.

Now go back and click what’s on now you will see a list of channels, the shows that are on, and the time.

If you click the magnifying glass or choose complete listings you get the ability to sort by date and category.

When you click one of the shows you get a short synopsis and a list of whenever it runs again.

In the example below you see the Illusionist comes on at 5:50 AM on channel 154 and then 8:50 AM on channel 155.

Of the three I have review this one is the best for casual browsing. I also like the fact that it tells you when the show comes on again. Unfortunately there is no search function but other than that it is the closest to a traditional TV guide.

After all most people use a guide because they don’t know what they want to watch not because they are searching for a specific show.
